Tool Alert : Abbey Bike Tools Releases 3 New Tools

November 3, 2021 - Abbey Bike Tools is at it again, bringing three new tools to market this Fall to address ever-changing needs within the industry:

Steerer Tube Saw Guide

ABT has partnered with Allied Cycle Works to develop a saw guide to more easily and accurately cut fork steerers with internally routed cables. It is compatible with 1" and 1-1/8" steerer tubes and shaped like a "U" to allow cables to pass. With no need to remove the cables or hoses, this saw guide is a true time saver developed with accuracy in mind.

DUB Crank Dust Cap Tool

Removing and installing a DUB Extractor Cap has never been simpler with this new socket, developed directly with SRAM. A simple tool, the socket is also marked for direction to indicate the left-hand thread of the cap. The socket is finished in typical Abbey garb with green anodizing.

Lever Setter

Accuracy and repeatability are the name of the game with this lever setting attachment to be used in conjunction with the Abbey Hanger Alignment Gauge. After replacing the headset top cap with the Lever Setter, simply thread on the HAG and utilize the existing indicator to evenly match the lever position on both sides with absolute precision.

These tools along with Abbey's entire lineup are loaded into the Bike Tool Finder and can be found on their website.
